Pathways to Liberation: Matrix of Self-assessment
Welcome! Pathways to Liberation: Matrix of Self-assessment is a collaborative project created by Jacob Gotwals, Jack Lehman, Jim Manske and Jori Manske. In 2008 we started writing about skills for transforming life and relationships, in the service of creating a world of personal and systemic wellbeing and collaboration. We worked together for 3 years to create a list of skills and a measure of their development from unknown to integrated. We celebrate that it has been meaningful to many and is being used freely in various ways, including as part of the CNVC certification process. It has been translated into several languages:

We invite your support in adding translations in other languages to our list.
We created the matrix with openness to people using it freely and even adapting it as they would like. We were and are aware that other skills not only could arise but in fact had and would continue to be possibilities for inclusion. And after working on it together for 3 years we were clear among the 4 of us that it was "good enough" to publish. So we put this out under a Creative Commons license as a gift, and so all are free to continue this exploration if they choose. Pathways to Liberation is about getting free, being free. It was born in collaboration and co-created in a field of co-operation and feedback. I am celebrating both the clarity and the connection I have enjoyed during the process. May it lead to the unconditioned!

I love the growth and depth of connection we have had in co-creating this Matrix of self-assessment. Sharing it with others has been fun and enlightening as people realize and celebrate the shifts that have already happened for them, and they become aware of and see how they can develop more capabilities to enrich life.
